Body

Overview and access information

We send the preceptors a binder at the beginning of the year, but the main part that applies to 360s is below.

Assess the student's performance (history taking, physical exam skills, diagnostic reasoning skills,

patient education, etc.) in the ambulatory setting:

• Observe student interactions with patients regularly

• Set up an observed history and physical once a semester to give student formative feedback, in

advance of his/her OSCE examination.

• Notify the Course Director and Assistant Director of any concerns regarding the student.

Give the student constructive feedback during and after each session by completing 360

evaluations online via https://tinyurl.com/TCC360Eval or QR Code:

• Review Patient log with the student, at the student’s request.

• Review clinical skills checklists (Procedure log), monthly via reports sent by HCOM staff,

if students are behind in logging certain procedures look for opportunities.

Typically, preceptors just access the 360 evaluation by scanning a QR code sticker that students have on their badges. The link and QR code log into emedley automatically for preceptors.
