User Guide

Digital Enablement Project Team and Steering Committee prioritized setting up the Asset Module to assist with gathering applications that are managed by OIT to support business decisions and redundancy of applications, and ensure there is one unified spot to find the information.

MVP Inclusion Criteria (April 1, 2026)

To be included in the MVP the application must be either:

  • Paid for by OIT (based on the budget). Budget items are a collection of:

  • Active contractual agreements

  • FY27 non-people estimates

  • FY26 budget items from Finance (Moriah)

  • OIT Purchase Orders placed between 01/01/2025 and 02/01/2026

  • A custom OIT application supported and managed by SET

  • An application fully supported and managed by PPS that already exists in TDX

What the Asset/CI Module Is

The Asset/CI (Configuration Item) module is where you manage hardware, software, and configuration records. Asset management includes details like product models, serial numbers, vendors, contracts, and physical locations.

Where to Access the Module

You can access the Asset/CI application from:

  • Go to Applications > Asset/CI Application.

  • Technicians can view, search, edit, or create Asset/CI records depending on permissions.
