Description
Re-occurring tickets are useful to have set up so that you are reminded when to perform work. How to set up a re-occurring ticket with in Team Dynamix.
Solution
To set up a re-occurring ticket to ensure work is completed, follow the steps below
Sign in to TDX -

Navigate to the Ticket Tab

Select – New scheduled ticket
Fill out ticket -
- Name - (suggestion) Review Asset
- Schedule
- Monthly
- Day (25) Every (3) months
- Start Date (choose a date that works with your team's expectations)
- Check Active box
- Classification – Service Record
Create a Template –
- Select "+" to add template
- Template Name – Update Asset
- Visibility – just me or these groups
- Ticket form - Service Desk
- Fill out form
- Requester - You
- Status – New
- Title – Update Assets
- Descriptions – list your asset responsibilities
- Priority – High
- Responsible – You
Back to template -
- Requester – You
- Responsible – the group you are in (should be pre populated) IF not search
- Assets- add the items you need to review
- Start date – don't need to fill out
- Due date – don’t need to fill out
This will create a ticket that will populate automatically (based on what the perimeters were set at). It will appear in your report – assigned to me
