Overview
Clinical Education Cohort Site information is stored in Salesforce and integrated with eMedley. This article explains how to create new Clinical Education Cohort Sites or Clinical Site Agreements in Salesforce, as well as, how to review or make changes to the records.
How to Create a New Clin Ed Cohort Site
- First, ensure you are in the HCOM Preceptors app in Salesforce.
- Select the Clinical Education Cohort Sites tile (golden apple). This will take you to a list view of records.
3. Click the 'New' button in the upper right corner of the screen.
4. On the window that appears, fill out all known information and the required fields. Required fields are designated by an asterisk.
5. Click Save.
How to Create a New Clinical Site Agreement
- First, ensure you are in the HCOM Preceptors app in Salesforce.
- Select the Clinical Site Agreements tile (orange pencil). This will take you to a list view of records.
3. Click the 'New' button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
4. Fill out all required fields and known information. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
a. For the Clinical Education Cohort Site Lookup, you can search by typing the name of the site if it does not appear in the drop down list.
5. Click 'Save'.
Navigate to Existing Clin Ed Cohort Site Records & Edit
- First, ensure you are in the HCOM Preceptors app in Salesforce.
- Select the Clinical Education Cohort Sites tile (golden apple). This will take you to a list view of records.
3. The list view will default to 'Recently Viewed'. Click the drop down arrow next to it to view 'All'.
4. From that list, find the site you are wanting to review/edit and select the record name.
5. Click the pencil next to the field you are wanting to edit then save. All changes will be integrated to eMedley overnight.
Viewing Related Clinical Site Agreements
- From the Clin Ed Cohort Site record, select the 'Related Tab'.
2. Scroll to the Clinical Site Agreements section and select the agreement you're wanting to review.
3. Edit by selecting the pencil next to the field, then click 'Save'.
Navigate to Existing Clinical Site Agreements independently from Clin Ed Cohort Sites
- First, ensure you are in the HCOM Preceptors app in Salesforce.
- Select the Clinical Site Agreements tile (orange pencil). This will take you to a list view of records.
3. The list view will default to 'Recently Viewed'. Click the drop down arrow next to it to view 'All'.
4. From that list, find the site you are wanting to review/edit and select the record name.
