Overview
The purpose of this article is to outline the process for navigating the Power Bi and Power App for OMM evaluation of students.
Power Bi
The student roster and evaluation schedule for each semester is published on Power BI, Evaluation Schedule - OMM Student Roster - Power BI. There are three pages of information:
- Evaluation Schedule - This gives you the evaluation schedule of pairs by campus and faculty member. You can use the filters at the top to search for a specific evaluation date and campus. Faculty assignments are generic.
- Forecast by Student - This gives you an overview, by student, of their planned evaluations, based on the schedule. This highlights their earliest and latest evaluation dates, how many are scheduled before midterm, how many are scheduled after midterm, the total number of expected evaluations, and total planned evaluations. This is all based on the scheduled information. The Completed to date information is based on actual evaluations completed.
- Grades - This information is locked down to just OME and OMM facult leadership
Power App
The Power App will be used on quiz day to evaluate the students.
You’ll want to download the Power Apps app from your device’s app store. Once downloaded, you should be able to log in with your faculty credentials. From there, you should see the OMM Quiz app in your listings.

How to use the App:
1. Select the student you wish to evaluate from the Student pick list. You can also start typing the letters of the student's name to narrow the search. The PID will automatically populate once a student is selected. Click "Next" to proceed.
2. Select "Start Quiz" and proceed with answering the quiz questions. If feedback is needed, you can enter into the text box labeled "Overall Feedback". Select "Submit" to complete.
3. After a successful submission, the last page will confirm. If desired, click "Start another quiz" to begin a new quiz.
