Overview

Medical students are expected to inform the Heritage College Office of Research and Grants of all research and scholarly activity dissemination activities (e.g., publications, external research presentations, honors and awards) associated with student research and scholarly activities.  You can report these activities in your Student Portal.

Accessing the Student Portal and Logging In

The Student Portal can be accessed using the following link: https://ouhcom.my.site.com/students/. You will use your OHIO email and password to log in. 

Upon logging in, you'll land on a homepage similar to the one pictured below. From here select "Research Dissemination Record". 

 

Submitting a Research Dissemination

The page that loads will show a list of your current Research or Scholarly Activities. Please select the activity that you need to submit the dissemination for from this page. Next, you will be asked if you have disseminated this research or scholarly activity. When you select "Yes" a pick list of options will appear (Publication, Presentation, Award/Honor, Other). Based on which you pick, other fields will need to be filled out. Please note, those designated with a red bar are required. 

Once you fill out all of the information, you can either "Submit" or "Add Another..." for this Research Or Scholarly Activity. 

Viewing Research Disseminations

When you submit your activity, you'll return to your Research and Scholarly Activity Dissemination List Page. Click the Research or Scholarly Activity you want to view the Dissemination for and it will load. You'll also be able to create a new record.
