What is Zoomify?
Zoomify is a web-based digital histology application used by HCOM students.
Accessing Zoomify
Use the following address to access Zoomify histology images: https://hcom-histology.ohio.edu/ There is no password required.
Accessing Images in Zoomify
Upon logging in, you will see a folder list of histology images. Click on the folder you wish to open.
Click on the image/slide within the folder you wish to view.
The slide will load for viewing with no faculty annotations. Use the toolbar located at the bottom of the image to zoom and pan the image. Click on an "Annotation Set" at the bottom of the image to open various sets of faculty annotations on the slide.
The annotation window is located top-right in the image when the image is moused over. Use the "Label" drop down menu to select various faculty annotations/questions. Clicking the right arrow located next to the annotation list will automatically center the slide on the selected annotation.
