Digital Signage Management: Rise Vision

Description

A Windows11-based digital content distribution platform that allows playback to display devices.  

Access

Who can access

  • OHIO faculty and staff who have budget authority and/or their delegate. 

Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all one-time and recurring costs associated with implementing digital signage. All costs will be billed as full cost recovery. Pricing will vary based on the solution selected and the cost of equipment.

    • OIT will replace equipment under manufacturer warranty that has failed due to manufacturer defect at no charge.

    • Customers will be responsible for costs associated with repairing equipment, cabling, or other infrastructure when physical damage occurs.

    • If Facilities work is needed, OIT will work with Facilities to provide additional cost and time estimates.

How to request access

Features

  • Utilize content from various sources, including but not limited to social media feeds and Calendar of University Events (CUE) feeds.

  • Responsive graphics (fit to any size screen).

  • Various layouts are available on each display, including dynamic graphics.

  • User access levels (content editor, content publisher, display administrator, system administrator).

  • A single player can control multiple display devices' content.

  • Display groups (allows multiple display devices to display the same content).

  • Emergency notifications (AlertOHIO).

  • Media players must use Windows 11.

New Display and New Media Player

This solution includes everything you need to get started with digital signage on a single display:

  • Media player with RiseVision Software
  • One 55" display with wall mount
  • One-time setup (includes supplies and labor)
  • Training
  • Annual license fee

New Displays and New Media Player

This solution includes everything you need to get started with digital signage on two or more displays, with all of those displays controlled by a single player:

  • Media player with RiseVision Software
  • Two or more 55" displays with wall mounts
  • One-time setup (includes supplies and labor)
  • Training
  • Annual license fee

Existing Display(s) and New Media Player

If your existing displays are compatible with RiseVision, but your player is not, this option is the most cost-effective way to migrate to the new technology. This solution includes:

  • Media player with RiseVision software
  • One-time setup (includes supplies and labor)
  • Training
  • Annual license fee

Existing Display(s) and Existing Media Player

If your existing displays and player are compatible with RiseVision, this option is the least expensive way to migrate to the new technology. This solution includes:

  • One-time setup (includes supplies and labor)
  • Training
  • Annual license fee
