Software Installation Support
The Tech Help Desk provides free software installation support. Whether the software is provided by Ohio University or personally purchased, the Tech Help Desk is here to support you. This includes installing Microsoft 365 applications (Word, PPT, Excel, etc.), setting up cloud storage, and transferring data from your old device.
Basic Device Troubleshooting
The Tech Help Desk provides free initial diagnosis for computer hardware and software issues. In our experience, we have found most minor problems can be resolved quickly and efficiently during this initial diagnosis. In addition to software, we can help troubleshoot:

Computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, and most other computer peripherals
For assistance via the telephone, please call the Office of Information Technology Service Desk at 740-593-1222. A ticket for your work order may also be requested via the Technology Help Center.
New Device Setup
Tech Help Desk provides free setup of your new device. This includes installing Microsoft 365 applications (Word, PPT, Excel, etc.), Cloud Storage setup, and data transfer from your old device.
