Installing software on OHIO Windows computers

Description

If you are using an OHIO managed Windows computer, you may follow the directions below to install University-approved software. 

Environment

Windows OS

Solution 

1. Open your Start Menu. 
    
2. Depending on which Windows OS you have:
    
   1. Select All Programs or All apps, then open Company Portal.
       
   2. Alternatively, you can use the Search feature on the Windows Taskbar and/or Start Menu, search for Company Portal, and select Open under the application.
       
3. In Company Portal, select Apps in the left menu. This will display the software packages that are available for you to download.
    
4. Select the software you would like to download and select the Install button. 
    
5. Follow the automatic prompts to install the software on your device.

Outcome: You should now be able to install university-approved software on OHIO managed Windows computers.
