What is the Video Speed controller in Learning Space and how is it helpful?
The video speed controller option within Learning Space allows the faculty member to either speed up or slow down the video playback speed while grading a recorded encounter. Speeding up the playback speed will allow the faculty member to more efficiently grade a recorded CTAC encounter.
How to use the Video Speed controller option
1. Log into Learning Space: https://ctac.hcom.ohio.edu
2. Use the FON Data Entry link next to an activity to open video grading. Select the student you wish to grade.
3. Next to the video play/stop buttons at the bottom of the video window, click on the button that looks like a speedometer.
4. Select the playback speed the faculty member wishes to use from the options available. The video will now play at the selected speed.
5. Repeat this process for subsequent videos to be scored within Learning Space.
