Setting up an Oracle Support Account

Description

To set up your Oracle account for creating tickets for help with Oracle issues or for research on an issue. 

Environment

You will need to go to a Web browser of your choice and then go to https://support.oracle.com/signin .

Solution 

Using your web browser, navigate to https://support.oracle.com/signin. Enter your email address into the sign in field.  If you do not already have an existing account, you will be prompted with a new window and you will want to select Create a My Oracle Support account.

Input your contact information:

You will be prompted with a notification to check your email and verify that you have entered your email correctly.

Once you receive the email you will be asked about the subscription identifier, and you will enter 18074319 and the organization is OHIO UNIV (make sure this is all caps).  Once entered,  the request will be sent to the administrator which will approve it and then you are all set.
