Description

Software for encrypting an individual Mac computer's hard drive. 

For sensitive data or for cases where you need to be able to recover a lost or forgotten encryption key, you should use PGP Encryption.

Access

How to Install

  1. In Applications, open Self Service.

  2. Select FileVault2 Encryption.

  3. Click the enable button and follow the steps in the FileVault2 dialog to encrypt your hard drive and securely store your key.

  • Anyone with a Mac computer.
