Data Visualization and Analysis: Microsoft Power BI

Description

Power BI is a Microsoft product that provides data visualizations and analysis from unrelated sources of data. You can use Power BI to build reports and create dashboards that can be shared with other Power BI users.

Access

  1. Go to powerbi.microsoft.com.

  2. Select Sign In in the upper right corner.

Who can access

  • Available to all OHIO faculty and staff.

How to request access

  • No request needed. The service is enabled automatically based on your role at Ohio University.

  • Enables data manipulation such as transforms, filters, and visualizations

  • Business intelligence capability through filters, manipulation, and calculated columns

  • Data analysis and insights through an array of visualizations, such as support for R and Python
