Ohio University offers the following written tests, outside of the OHIO Testing Services.

World Language Assessments: If World Language testing is needed, contact the Patton College of Education at 740-593-4400.

ACT: Standardized test often used for college admissions. The ACT written test is administered in Morton Hall. Visit the ACT website for more information or to register.

GRE: The GRE General and Subject Tests are designed to help graduate school admission committees and fellowship sponsors assess the qualifications of applicants. The tests also provide students with an assessment of their own qualifications. The GRE written tests are administered in Patton Hall. Visit the GRE website for more information or to register.

SAT Reasoning Test: The SAT Reasoning Test is a measure of the critical thinking skills you'll need for academic success in college. The SAT assesses how well you analyze and solve problems — skills you learned in school that you'll need in college. The SAT written test is administered in Patton Hall. - TOEFL: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is an Internet-Based Test (IBT) that measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings.
