Research Websites: OpenScholar

Description

The Research Division offers faculty and staff websites to current researchers to promote their research, attract funding and create partnership opportunities. OpenScholar provides an easy-to-use templated environment that allows users to author, administer, and manage webpages without having extensive knowledge of web markup and programming languages. These are not meant to replace faculty profiles on the current www.ohio.edu website, and are not available for course materials, personal websites, or larger institutes/labs that are of strategic importance to the University.

Access

• Available to faculty and staff that are current researchers 

• To request a site, visit the Research Division’s OpenScholar webpage. 

Terms of Use

• Not to be used for course materials, personal websites, or research institutes or labs. 

  • Cross-functional research groups, such as institutes and labs that have strategic importance at the institution, should remain in the Drupal CMS and be nested in the appropriate college website. 

• OIT and UCM do not provide support or training for OpenScholar websites; this is all provided through the OpenScholar vendor and the Research Division.
