Updating Your Signature in TeamDynamix (TDX)

Description

You can add a custom signature that automatically shows up on your ticket comments and ticket response templates.

Environment

TDNext Ticketing Platform   

Solution 

To add a signature:

  1. Navigate to TDNext.

  2. Select your name in the upper right corner.

  3. Select My Profile.

  4. In the top menu, select Settings.

  5. Select Edit.

  6. Under Technician Signature, enter the following in accordance with University Marketing and Communications (UCM) standards:

  • If you report through OIT:

Note: All OIT staff members should include contact information for the service desk in their signature. We don't include personal emails or phone numbers in TDX signatures because we want communication to stay in the platform, rather than end users contacting us directly. 

 

  •  If you report through another college/department:

Your Name

Your college or department

Ohio University

Phone number/email (optional)

 

  • Note:

    • If copying/pasting, you may need to backspace and select enter to make the lines single (instead of double) spaced. 

    • We recommend having your name in bolded 14 pt. font, Cutler Green color (HEX: #00694E- make sure to include the ‘#’).

      • To change the color of your name:

        • Highlight your name with your cursor. 

        • Select the text color button.

        • Select more colors.

        • In the text box, type HEX: #00694E.

        • Select OK. 

7. If you would like your signature to automatically show up when you’re not using a template (recommended), select the check boxes next to Apply to all updates and new comments for Tickets and Ticket Tasks and Apply to all replies for Tickets and Ticket tasks.

8. Select Save.

Outcome: Your signature has been added. Now, your custom signature will show up in ticket response templates and ticket comments (if selected).
