Create a re-occurring ticket with in TDX

Description

Re-occurring tickets are useful to have set up so that you are reminded when to perform work. How to set up a re-occurring ticket with in Team Dynamix.  

Solution 

To set up a re-occurring ticket to ensure work is completed, follow the steps below

Sign in to TDX - 
  1. Navigate to the Ticket Tab 

    • Gear – right hand side 

  2. Select – New scheduled ticket 

Fill out ticket - 
  1. Name - (suggestion) Review Asset 
  2. Schedule 
    • Monthly 
    • Day (25) Every (3) months 
    • Start Date (choose a date that works with your team's expectations)
  3. Check Active box 
  4. Classification – Service Record 
Create a Template –
  1. Select "+" to add template 
  2. Template Name – Update Asset  
  3. Visibility – just me or these groups  
  4. Ticket form - Service Desk 
  5. Fill out form  
  6. Requester - You 
  7. Status – New 
  8. Title – Update Assets 
  9. Descriptions – list your asset responsibilities  
  10. Priority – High  
  11. Responsible – You 
Back to template - 
  1. Requester – You  
  2. Responsible – the group you are in (should be pre populated) IF not search 
  3. Assets- add the items you need to review 
  4. Start date – don't need to fill out 
  5. Due date – don’t need to fill out 

This will create a ticket that will populate automatically (based on what the perimeters were set at). It will appear in your report – assigned to me
