Searching and Filtering Tickets

Description

This article provides the main methods to search and filter tickets in TeamDynamix for technicians.

Solution 

Technicians are able to search and filter the tickets they see.

Standard Filters

You are able to filter tickets using the standard filters/reports found on the left-hand side of the screen in the Ticket Application menu.

  • Tip: To navigate to the Ticket Application menu, log into TDWorkManagement, navigate to the View Application button​ (in the upper left), and select Tickets.

Creating & Customizing Ticket Searches

You can can also customize the filter to be able to report on and list specific tickets.

  2. The filter screen will appear. Enter the filtering requirements you want, and select Apply.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Saving Searches and Deleting Saved Searches

Once you have created a new filter, you can save it to search for tickets in the future.

Saving Searches

  1. With the search pulled up with your new filter, select + Saved Search from the menu.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  2. Under Save As, enter a name for your search and select Save.

  3. Once you have saved your search, you can find any of your previously saved searches by selecting My Saved Searches from the menu, then selecting the desired saved search from the drop down list.

Deleting Saved Searches

  1. You are also able to delete your saved searches by selecting My Saved Searches, and then selecting Edit My Searches.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  2. On the list of Saved Ticket Searches, select Delete to remove the saved ticket search.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Outcome: You are now able to search and filter tickets in TeamDynamix.
