CC-CESAP Participation - How to Submit in Student Portal

Overview

OMS II students on the Athens campus have the opportunity to express an interest in completing their rotations at a Cleveland location. In order to be considered for the Cleveland Clinical Site Selection of Students (CSSS), students must complete the Cleveland Campus - Clinical Education Site Assignment Process form and attestation in their HCOM Student Portals by the deadline communicated. Once the students submit their interest, the Clinical Education Team will communicate with them if they've been selected.

This article explains how the student logs in to the HCOM Student Portal and completes the form and attestation.

Accessing the Student Portal and Logging In

The Student Portal can be accessed using the following link: https://ouhcom.my.site.com/students/. You will use your OHIO email and password to log in.

Upon logging in, you'll land on a homepage similar to the one pictured below. From here select the "CC-CESAP and Attestation" link in the CC-CESAP box.

CC-CESAP Attestation

An Attestation is required to ensure students have read and understand the current CC-CESAP guidelines and timeline. A document explaining this process is available to view/download directly from the student portal. To access it click the link highlighted below.

Once you have read the guidelines, check the check-box to proceed to the next step.

CC-CESAP Clinical Site Selection

If you do not wish to participate in the CC-CESAP, select "No" in the CC-CESAP Clinical Site Selection field and submit. No further action is required.

If you do wish to participate in the CC-CESAP, select "Yes" and upload the required statement of interest and optional supporting document. Word documents and PDFs are accepted. Then submit.
