Description
This secure testing tool integrates with Canvas and is designed to improve the consistency of online assessments by blocking access to other apps, websites, and screen-sharing during exams and reduce student costs associated with proctoring.
Respondus LockDown Browser is being piloted by OIT and OHIO Online through October 31, 2025 to support a consistent online student experience and reduce costs to students. Access to the tool will end after October 31, 2025. Instructors are encouraged to plan for other proctoring strategies after the pilot concludes.
