Transferring a call in Jabber

Description

Jabber allows you to transfer calls to other users.

Environment

PC, Mac

Solution 

1. In the active call window, select ... (the three dots icon).

2. Select Transfer, and then enter the full ten-digit number.

3. Click Transfer.

   • For non-university numbers, enter one of the following:

     • Local Calls: 9 + 10 digit number using area code

     • Domestic Long Distance: 9 + 1 + area code + telephone number

     • International Long Distance: 9 + 011 + country code + city + number

     • Toll Free: 9 + 1 + 8xx + number

Outcome: You should now be able to transfer a call in Jabber.
