Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Inc. that gives you access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography, along with a set of mobile applications.

Students

  • Ohio University does not provide student licenses for Adobe Creative Cloud. However, student purchases are available at a discount. Please visit Adobe's website to purchase.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud device licenses have been installed on most labs across the University, including in Alden Library and Scripps Hall.

  • When using Adobe's apps on a computer with a Shared Device license, such as a shared student workstation or a lab computer, you will be prompted to authenticate when first launching the apps with your OHIO ID and password.

  • OHIO’s license is considered "Enterprise" and should be accessed through School/Work account. When logging into Adobe Creative Cloud, you should use your OHIO email and password.

Faculty and Staff

  • Faculty and staff can use Creative Cloud on any University-owned computer.  Each OHIO ID is allowed to install Creative Cloud on two devices (one University-owned and one personal device).

  • In order to get Adobe Creative Cloud, including Acrobat DC, on a work computer, follow instructions to install and download apps as needed (Mac and Windows).

  • OHIO’s license is considered "Enterprise" and should be accessed through School/Work account. When logging into Adobe Creative Cloud, you should use your OHIO email and password.

  • Adobe Acrobat DC Pro on VDI is available and can access Acrobat DC on our VDI environment. However, Adobe Creative Cloud is not permitted in virtualized environments
