If you are using an OHIO managed Windows computer, you may follow the directions below to install University-approved software.
Windows OS
Make sure your computer is connected to the OHIO network (wired or eduroam Wi-Fi for on-campus, VPN for off-campus).
Open your Start Menu.
Depending on which Windows OS you have:
Select All Programs or All apps, then Microsoft System Center or Microsoft Endpoint Manager, then open Software Center.
Alternatively, you can use the Search feature on the Windows Taskbar and/or Start Menu, search for Software Center, and select Open under the application.
In Software Center, select Applications in the left menu. This will display the software packages that are available for you to download.
Select the software you would like to download and select the Install button.
Follow the automatic prompts to install the software on your device.
Outcome: You should now be able to install university-approved software on OHIO managed Windows computers.
