Accessing course materials for Inclusive Access in Canvas

You can access Inclusive Access course materials in a variety of ways.

Scenario 1: VitalSource eBook

1. Access the VitalSource Course Dashboard by first clicking on Modules in your course. Your instructor can confirm where this link is located.

   

2. On the next page, click the Load VitalSource Course Dashboard in a new window button. A new tab will open. 

   

3. Select the Read Now button to be logged in the VitalSource online bookshelf.

   

Scenario 2: VitalSource Partner Integration

1. Access the VitalSource Course Dashboard by first clicking on Modules in your course. Your instructor can confirm where this link is located.

   

2. On the next page, click the Load VitalSource Course Dashboard in a new window button. A new tab will open. 

   

3. Select Launch Courseware to be launched into the bookshelf. 

   

Scenario 3: Course includes Access Codes

1. Access the VitalSource Course Dashboard by first clicking on Modules in your course. Your instructor can confirm where this link is located.

   

2. On the next page, click the Load VitalSource Course Dashboard in a new window button. A new tab will open. 

   

3. Select Reveal Access Code to receive an access code in a consecutive screen.

   

4. Select Copy, then follow the directions under the More Info section.

   

Scenario 4: Course includes third-party courseware

• You will access third-party courseware elsewhere within your Canvas course. You should refer to your syllabus or reach out to your instructor for additional guidance.

  

Outcome: You should now be able to access Inclusive Access course materials.
