Getting Started

Installation instructions: 

For Personal Devices:  

1. Go to the MathWorks web site. 
2. When you get to the MATLAB Portal select ‘Sign in to get started’ under the Get MATLAB and Simulink 
3. Enter your OHIO ID credentials. 
4. Select the download button for the current release.  
5. Choose a supported platform and download the installer.
6. Run the installer. 
7. In the installer, select Log in with a MathWorks Account and follow the online prompts. 
8. When prompted to do so, select the Academic – Total Headcount license labeled Individual. 
9. Select the products you want to download. 
10. After downloading and installing your products, keep the Activate MATLAB checkbox selected and select Next. Follow the prompts to activate.

For Managed Devices:  

• The MATLAB application is available for download in Self Service and Software Center. 

  • Installing software on OHIO Windows computers
