About
|
The global desktop is the default landing screen when you log into TeamDynamix. It can pull data from multiple applications, such as reports on tickets, knowledge base articles, and the service catalog.
The default desktop is configured by TDNext admins.
|
The ticket desktop is customizable for each user, allowing them to add ticketing reports that are relevant for them.

How Many
|
Any TDNext user can create multiple global desktops. If you have multiple desktops, you can toggle between them by using the right drop down menu.
|
Each user can only have one ticketing desktop.

Managers may request to deploy a global desktop that they've created to other user accounts by submitting a service request. In your request, please state which accounts you'd like the desktop applied to.
Add a Report to Your Ticket Desktop
In most cases, a ticketing desktop -rather than a global desktop - will fit your needs.
-
Navigate to TeamDynamix.
-
Select Tickets from the top menu or from the green waffle icon in the upper left corner.
-
In the gray menu bar, select Edit Tickets Desktop.
-
Under Available Content, search for the report that you would like to add to your desktop.
-
Select and hold this report and drag it to your desired column.
-
Select Save.
Outcome: You have added a ticketing report to your desktop. Now the report will appear on your Tickets home screen.
