Panopto is a cloud-based application for recording lectures, presentations, or events for later replay by students or colleagues.
Access

Once set up by the Instructor of Record, Instructors and Students access Panopto through the LMS:

Non-instructional Staff(opens in a new window)
Who can access

To create or upload content: Faculty, staff, and emeriti.

To view content: Anyone; however, content owners have the option of limiting access to their lectures/files.

Content Retention Policy
- Content that has not been viewed or updated for two (2) years is automatically moved to Panopto's archive storage.
- Archived content remains available and can be restored when needed.
- Restoring archived content typically takes up to 48 hours, but may take as long as 72 hours depending on system demand.
- Archived content that remains un-viewed and unmodified for an additional seven (7) years will be permanently deleted.
