Syncing the Canvas Calendar with your Outlook Calendar

Description

Students and instructors can sync their Canvas calendar with their Outlook (Catmail) calendar. This allows Canvas events and assignments to appear in your Outlook calendar. Once you sync your calendars, you can remove your Canvas events and assignments from your Outlook calendar at any time.

Environment

Canvas in your web browser or the Canvas Student app

Solution 

1. Log in to Canvas at canvas.ohio.edu.
2. In the global navigation menu on the left, select Calendar.
3. Follow Canvas's step-by-step instructions to open and copy the Canvas calendar feed, and to add it to your Outlook calendar.

Outcome: You should now be able to sync your Canvas calendar with your Outlook calendar.
