Beginning
June 25, 2025, Ohio University will merge Blackboard-linked Panopto accounts with Canvas-linked Panopto accounts. After this date, you will no longer need to manually share videos between the two systems. See
Panopto Account Merge Transition (June 2025) below for full details.
Description
When accessing Panopto via Canvas, your Blackboard content will not automatically appear, and vice versa. To view your videos in Canvas, you must manually share the content in your Blackboard account with your Canvas Panopto account. Note: Beginning June 25, 2025, a system-wide account merge will automatically make this process unnecessary. See the account merge section below for more information.
